Free smoothies for a year to two people every hour at the grand opening events on Saturday, July 20 and Saturday, July 27.

LIVONIA, MI (JUNE 27, 2019) – Smoothie King, the leading smoothie brand committed to inspiring guests to live healthy, active lifestyles, will open two more of its 50 planned Michigan locations in Livonia on Monday, July 1 at 11003 Middlebelt Rd. and in Chesterfield on Saturday, July 13 at 50918 23 Mile Rd. The first lower Michigan location was opened in St. Clair Shores earlier this year. The new stores are owned and operated by entrepreneur Christopher Klebba of Northern Diamond Management.

A grand opening event for Livonia will take place on Saturday, July 20 while a grand opening event for Chesterfield will take place on Saturday, July 27. At each of the grand opening events, Smoothie King will celebrate the new locations with free smoothies for a year (one 20-ounce smoothie per week for 52 weeks) for two guests every hour all day long (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.). The official ribbon-cutting ceremony for each location will take place at 10 a.m the day of the event. From 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Shannon from Channel 955 will be on site to help celebrate and guests can also enjoy additional giveaways throughout the day.

Smoothie King is also excited to announce local NASCAR driver Armani Williams will be at the Livonia grand opening celebration. The 18-year old racer from Grosse Point, Michigan is the first openly diagnosed autistic driver in NASCAR. Williams’ personal diagnosis with autism and success on the track inspires his philanthropy off the track. In 2015, Williams and his family established the Armani Williams Race 4 Autism Foundation to raise awareness and promote research. Smoothie King will be donating $1 for every smoothie sold at the Livonia grand opening event to Williams’ Foundation. Williams will be available for signing and photo opportunities from 1 – 3 p.m. on July 20.
